Benefits of Drone Application

Precision Application

Agricultural drones are not replacing the need for fixed or rotary wing aerial applications but are rather giving property owners another option when it comes to managing their farms and ranches. Drones can more precisely apply product to the perimeter of the field while minimizing the potential for unwanted drift off target. Our drones have 360-degree omnidirectional obstacle avoidance which allows us to better trim in the application of product around no spray zones and property boundaries. The drones 8 propellers create a downward vortex advantage that more effectively pushes the product deep into the canopy which further increases the efficacy of the application.

Ability to spot spray, scout, mission plan!

In addition to the spray drone fleet, we also have the incredibly capable DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral drone which can perform scouting/mapping missions and provide extremely detailed real time images of clusters or individual invasive species of plants such as mesquite, common broomweed, ragweed, huisache, persimmon, prickly pear, and others. This data can then be loaded into the Agras T50 spray drone to accomplish the spot spray mission while applying product only where it is needed.

Spray in wet conditions, eliminate soil compaction and trampled crops, hit the mark!

Our DJI Agras T50 agricultural spray drones provide best in class performance and increase the efficacy of each aerial application. The T50's dual atomized centrifugal spray nozzles allow an easily adjustable variety of droplet sizes from 50 (Very Fine) to 500 (Very Course) microns to better meet the conditions at the time of application if product label allows.

Getting product on your crop or pasture immediately when a pest is identified is critical. Drones provide the ability to access your property after periods of rain that would not allow a ground-based rig to access due to wet or muddy conditions. The aerial application allows you to apply product when it is needed most to minimize losses.

Ground-based rigs can compact the soil as well as trample some of the crops you are working so hard to bring to harvest. Using aerial applications eliminates these negative byproducts of ground-based spraying completely. Drones offer up an alternative solution to a farm or ranch when spray applications are needed
